What we collect
Account information (name, email), organization and site details you enter (addresses, permit numbers, inspection records, photos, documents), and standard technical logs. Inspection photos may include GPS coordinates and timestamps — that's a feature: they become part of your compliance record.
How we use it
To operate the service: monitoring rainfall at your site locations, creating inspection deadlines, sending notifications you've configured, generating reports, and processing billing. We do not sell your data or use your compliance records for advertising.
Who we share it with
Service providers that make RainCheck run: cloud infrastructure for hosting, database, authentication, and file storage; a payment processor (we never see your full card number); an email delivery provider; and a weather data provider (we send site coordinates only, never your identity). Report emails go to the recipients you configure per site.
Retention
Compliance records are the point of the product, so we keep them until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Deleting your account removes your organization's data from production systems within 30 days, subject to legal holds.
Your choices
You can export your records at any time, update account information in the app, and request deletion by contacting us. Notification emails about deadlines are part of the service; marketing email (if any) always has an unsubscribe link.
